ENVIRONMENTAL DECLARATION OF THE "EL ROMERO" SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PLANT

Development of the life cycle analysis and the Environmental Product Declaration for the El Romero Solar photovoltaic plant, which ACCIONA ANERGÍA has built in the Atacama desert. This plant has a peak power of 246 MWp, and is designed to produce the energy equivalent to the consumption of 240,000 Chilean homes, through 776,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules making a solar area of more than 1.5 million m2 , equivalent to 211 professional soccer fields.

This project, which we have developed for ACCIONA ENERGÍA, has allowed El Romero Solar to be the first photovoltaic plant worldwide that has a verified and registered Environmental Product Declaration.
